About Us

Founded in 1976 by Mike Leach, Ithaca Stoveworks began as a one-man operation in a small State Street building. Leach steadily grew the business, expanding employees, inventory, and equipment as resources allowed.  Andrew Boerman purchased Ithaca Stoveworks in 2012 as it was a natural fit with Ithaca Agway as each has different peak seasons.  Ithaca Stoveworks has grown to its current size and location on South Meadow Street adjacent to Ithaca Agway.  Ithaca Stoveworks provides service, repair, installation, and chimney cleaning services, specializing in all forms of heat: wood, pellets, gas, and electric. Andrew Boerman proudly continues to operate it as a family-owned and operated business.
